ECLASS publishes a new release every year. Compared to its predecessor, the current ECLASS Release 16.0 contains:
- 995 new classes (CC, AS, BL, AC),
thereof 137 new classification classes (CCs) - 1,253 new properties
- 985 new values
- 126 new value lists

ECLASS Release 17.0 Alpha now available for testing
The alpha version of ECLASS Release 17.0 has been completed and is now available for testing by the ECLASS community. This marks the next important step in the release process: members of the relevant bodies, expert groups, IT service providers, and the developers’ community are invited to review the deliverables for technical and general issues and to provide feedback.
