18th and 19th September 2019 in Cologne, Germany

7th eCl@ss CONGRESS 2019

  • Share experiences with specialists
  • Large number of use cases and best practice examples
  • Get-together and networking

We bring participants together with leaders, innovators and successful practitioners from the master-data management field. We offer a large number of use cases and best-practice examples, from optimized purchasing processes to digital marketplaces and digital twinning.

On 18 and 19 September 2019, decision-makers from the industrial, trade and engineering sectors met at the 7th eCl@ss Congress at Cologne’s German Economic Institute (IW) for a two-day conference guided by the motto
"Enable your data stream".

The conference is among the sector’s top events on the theme of open data standards. In a series of 30 thematically diverse and exciting presentations, high-profile speakers offered insights into their companies’ data-management practices.

Presentations at the eCl@ss congress 2019

Around 150 international conference attendees had the opportunity to discuss success strategies, new developments and future prospects within the open-standards field. Participants were able to make new contacts and bring themselves up to date on exciting new eCl@ss developments.

Speakers and conference attendees met for an evening get-together and networking event in the unique ambience of the German Sport and Olympics Museum.

Our conference is a favorite meeting point for discussion of the field’s current issues, and to make new professional contacts. The event is attended by representatives from high-profile companies in the processing and manufacturing industries, as well as their colleagues from services companies.

  • The eCl@ss congress 2019 gave a wide view of the capabilities of eCl@ss over the complete market and in all sectors. It was very well orchestrated and a compact summarizing of the state of art for digital processes based on valuable classification.

    Stefan Willms, morphe*
  • “The eCl@ss-Congress 2019 was a great success for eCl@ss, because the most extensive encouragement and interest in eCl@ss could be heard throughout. To enable data stream, the broad application spectrum of ecl@ss shown in presentations became clear in many applications already in use and in development. This is a clear statement for the innovative power of eCl@ss to which we must continue to adhere.  In addition to this fact, I was particularly pleased that IOTA was able to present the first tangible product already usable in the real world, the "world's first autonomous & decentralized, industrial Marketplace", as a result of the cooperation with eCl@ss.

Personally I feel confirmed in our support of eCl@ss and even more motivated. I look forward making my contribution to the further development of eCl@ss. Let's work together to make eCl@ss the consensual semantics for the Industrial Internet of Things.”

    Gerhard Treitinger, BSH Hausgeräte GmbH
  • The eCl@ss congress provided a great opportunity for us to showcase SPARETECH’s innovative solution and network with other industry experts. We are pleased with the level of interest and positive feedback we received towards our solution model and look forward to returning next time.

    Dr. Lukas Biedermann, SPARETECH GmbH
  • "Joining the eCl@ss-Congress first time, but being part of several different congresses and specific thematic events in the past it is impressive to get to know the bundled knowledge walking around and being available – especially considering the profoundly subject of data throughout the different markets and sectors! Overall, a very well organised event, which provided not only the knowledge, but also the passion to make eCl@ss the consensual semantics."
